Today for our STEM challenge with Mrs Ford we had to build the tallest tower. We could use any material we could in the class - duplo, blocks, maths equipment. There was a lot of discussion about which materials to use, how to make the tower stable, how to balance materials. There was also a bit of frustration when our towers collasped! There was some great perseverance too! Ka pai tamariki!
The criteria was:
1. To make the tallest structure
2. It had to stand up by itself
3. Must use at least 2 different building materials
