What a fabulous day exploring our Solar System!
Today we learnt about the phases of the moon, the planets, how the sun impacts the earth and space travel. All this was inspired by the recent Space X Rocket launch - we had so many questions that we wanted to find out more about.
Did you know that all the planets move around the sun? Earth's year is 365 days and Mercury's is 88 days. The further away from the sun the planet is, the longer the year is. See the table below:
