Pūkeko 1 & 2 loved creating their very own pūkeko masterpiece. First, we used newspaper to create the reeds and grasses from a swap. Then we dyed the background. We practised drawing pūkeko on whiteboards then we drew a final pūkeko onto a piece of paper. The last steps were painting our pūkeko and then gluing it onto our background. We are very proud of our finished artwork. Hopefully you can come into our classrooms soon and have a closer look!
